Merry Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas season this year.  It was full of sweet moments and fun memories.  The boys were so excited to get our Christmas tree and decorate it.  They also loved having lights outside on one of our bushes and icicle lights hanging on the house.  Tanner put himself in charge of turning on the lights each afternoon as the sun was going down.  We enjoyed a special treat visiting Callaway Gardens where we were able to ride a trolley through 5 miles of holiday lights.  Tanner asked if we could make gingerbread boy cookies so the boys helped make the dough, cut the boys out, and then of the course they decorated them.  David was gone on a trip Christmas Eve, but the boys and I went to a friends house.  David also had to work most of the day Christmas, but we were able to have his cousins over for Christmas dinner which was a lot of fun.  The boys had to wait until the day after Christmas to open their gifts and they were sooo patient.  Tanner was our gift organizer so he had all the gifts organized in piles under the tree.  They had a great time opening their gifts and playing with them and then on the afternoon of the 26th David flew the boys to Wisconsin so they could spend some time with family and enjoy the snow.  Now we are awaiting the arrival of number three!

Mason was a big helper

They enjoyed hiding in the middle of all the trees

Finally a tree we all agree on!

Mason loved putting the ornaments on the tree

We did have to talk about putting only 1 ornament per branch!
