Our Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a great trip to Wisconsin to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Since we don't plan on traveling for Christmas, we stayed for several weeks so that we could see as much family as possible.  We started our trip out by visiting Uncle Anthony and Stacie.  Aunt Amber, Aunt Lane, and Bella also came for the weekend and we had a scrap booking weekend for all the girls.  The boys always enjoy being at Uncle Anthony's and playing with the cat and feeding the horses.

After our long weekend at Uncle Anthony's we headed to a waterpark to meet up with the Dahlies.  The boys love swimming and being in the water so that had a great time on the slides and in the lazy river.  Tanner wasn't very fond of the big tub slides, but Mason had no fear!  David was able to come and join us at the waterpark and the boys were very happy to have their Dad to play with.  They also had fun with their cousin, Tyler, and their Uncle Mike.  We all headed back to the Dahlies for celebrating Thanksgiving day.  The boys always enjoy playing with the tractors at Grandpa Dahlies and also being wild and silly in the basement where Grandma doesn't mind if they jump on the furniture.

After a week with the Dahlies, we traveled to Grandpa and Grandma Rehbergs for a visit.  The boys were thrilled when we arrived and there was SNOW!  The weather had been very mild, but it turned cold and the snow stayed for most of our week there.  Mason prayed at his bedtime prayers that the snow wouldn't go away!  Tanner had to do school work each morning since we had taken the previous week off, but he did a great job concentrating and getting his work done.  The boys spent a lot of time playing out in the snow with their cousin Bella and working with Grandpa out in the barn.  David was able to come back for a couple of days and the boys really enjoyed when he pulled them on the sled behind the 4-wheeler.  Tanner said it was even more fun at night because then you couldn't see where you were going!  We were also able to celebrate Bella's third birthday while we were there which was really nice.  The boys spent an afternoon putting Christmas decorations up with Grandma so they were ready when they got home to get our decorations out.  We all came home very tired, but we had a great trip.  The boys are thinking that they need to go back for maple syrup season!
