Our 4th Annual Ocean Trip

I was going to title this post "The Dahlie Family and too Much Vacation!"  David had a pretty good schedule this month so since he had the time off we wanted to take advantage of it and head to the Gulf.  We stayed at a different condo this year just a little bit down the beach from previous years and it turned out to be a very nice place.  The boys loved the pools and the weather was great every day so we could not complain.  We didn't see as much marine life as we have in the past and the waves were pretty big every day which was a little disappointing.  The big waves were great for floating on, though, and that was Mason's favorite thing to do.  As soon as we would get to the beach he would ask to "float out."  It was really cute.  Tanner practiced using his snorkel and flippers in the pool, but he was not able to try them out in the ocean because of the waves.  The beach is always a great time and very relaxing so we look forward to it every year.  I guess after four years we can say that we have started a tradition.  God willing we will head back next year for more fun!

Wow...that is really heavy

We saw a lot of pelicans this year

The boys were always trying to catch something with their nets

Not sure what they found, but it must have been cool!

That was about as far as we got in building our castle

Tanner really enjoyed snorkeling with his new flippers

Mason loved being out on the waves

The boys really enjoyed the pool

Our condo is the one right behind the boys in the middle

They wanted David to dig a really big hole for them!
