July 3rd to July 8th - Summer Vacation Begins

We had a great time in Wisconsin this summer and it was sad leaving, but I guess all good things must come to an end! The boys were absolutely awesome the whole time and the moving about from place to place didn't really seem to bother them a whole lot. I think that Mom had a harder time adjusting than the boys did :) The time that we were able to spend with our immediate family as well as extended family was really precious. I am sure the boys don't really understand right now, but hopefully as they get holder they will understand our effort to keep them involved with all our family even though we live so far away. I am going to attempt to journal in date order what we did the whole month, but I may end up skipping around! Also, I was not very good with keeping my camera handy so I don't have pictures of everything, but I will still try to make note of those things.

July 3rd to July 8th

Our adventure to Wisconsin (which catching a flight there over the 4th of July weekend was quite an adventure) started in the Southern part of the state celebrating cousin Tyler's 4th birthday party. Aunt Michelle had planned an awesome party and the boys had a lot of fun seeing Tyler and other family members. We headed north for the 4th of July so that we could all take part in the parade with Grandma and Grandpa Rehberg. It was fun watching the boys collect candy at the parade and they enjoyed being involved in Grandma's float. The boys were also able to spend some time with their cousin's Lofton, Landon, and Bella which they love. We spent the week on the farm helping Grandpa bale hay and do farm chores. I am not sure there is anywhere those boys would rather be than riding on the tractor! Grandpa had a loaner tractor and it had a seat just for them and they were thrilled.

As you can see they already have some candy!
