Apple Picking and Hiking

We treated Uncle Michael to a trip up to the North Georgia mountains to pick apples and hiking at Amicalola Falls.  We had a great time going to the orchard to pick apples.  It was a beautiful day and the boys really enjoyed the tractor ride out to the orchard.  There were tons of apples to pick and we were even able to eat some apples right in the orchard.  After getting some fried apple pies we headed to Amicalola Falls.  The hike to the top of the falls was quite a work out, but the boys had no problem.  It was Mom who was lagging behind!  The boys pretty much ran down the trail from the top of the falls and I think they still had energy to spare.

Look at my nice apple!

Off to find a different kind of apple

You can kind of see the falls behind them

On our way down

The water was pretty low so they were able to play on the rocks a little

Mason was quite attached to Uncle Michael
