Today was Mason's third birthday...where does the time go??? We had a really great time celebrating with him today. He was very excited when he woke up this morning and saw the streamers on his door and the balloons and banners we had put up. He had his favorite breakfast of french toast and then we headed to the zoo to meet up with some friends. The kids had a great time looking at all the animals and just being outside in the fresh air. It was a little cool initially, but it warmed up pretty nice by lunch time. Gaby, Asher, and Emma and the boys went on the train which was a special treat and then we had a nice lunch together. The kids had peanut butter and jelly sandwichs cut into animal shapes with some fruit, ants on a log, and some cheese and pretzels. Mason really wanted some kind of tractor cake so we made a cupcake cake of a farm scene. It was very cute and he loved it. In the afternoon Mason opened his big gift which was a John Deere pedal tractor. He really enjoyed pedaling around all afternoon. We finished the day with pizza of course! It is hard to believe that our little baby is growing up! It is amazing how much he has changed in the last year and I am sure it will be fun to see him continue to grow and mature in the next year. God has truly blessed us with our little Mason.
