Since we had been home for a whole week, we thought we had better head out on another vacation! We drove down to Florida for a trip to Disney with David's parents and his brother and family. The boys did great on the 6 1/2 hour drive down. They were very content to color and look at books. The drive seemed to fly by (the same can not be said of the ride home!) which was a great way to start our week of vacation. We started out at Epcot and the boys loved the show about Crush, the turtle from Nemo, and the ride about Nemo and friends. It was really cold out so we spent as much time in doors as we could. Our second day we went to Magic Kingdom and the boys were just overwhelmed with everything. Tanner was a little scared of some of the rides because they went in the dark, but overall they enjoyed everything. They loved the street party where they were able to see some of the characters and the electrical parade at night which was just spectacular. After two days of being at the park, we decided to just hang around the resort and let the boys relax (and the adults!). The resort was really nice and the boys had fun swimming in the pool, playing in the sand, and celebrating Mason's birthday (again)! After our day off we headed to Animal Kingdom. This was probably the hottest day while we were there, but it was only about 85 so it wasn't too bad. Mason really liked the Kilimanjaro animal safari where we were able to see elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, hippos, and more right out in nature. The boys also really enjoyed DinoLand where they could go through a maze and down all different slides all while listening to Dinosaur "roars." Our last day we headed back to see Crush the turtle (Mason really loves Crush) and we spent the afternoon at Magic Kingdom catching some of the things we had missed the previous time around. We ended up staying an extra day at the resort so that the boys could swim and play around. The weather wasn't the greatest, but they did have fun fishing and swimming in the heated pool. It was an awesome vacation and as they say, Disney is truly a magical experience.
