Fall Fun!

Yikes, I haven't posted in a while and the boys are growing by leaps and bounds.  We have been so busy with our new house that we haven't had a lot of time for playing around.  We did take a break last week to head up to the North Georgia mountains for apple picking and getting a pumpkin.  It was a beautiful day and the boys loved apple picking.  Most of the apples were really high in the trees so David had to hold the boys up, but they thought it was great.  Tanner told me today that we could just plant a couple of apple trees in our yard and then we would have an apple orchard right at our house!  If we didn't move every year or so, it would be a great plan.  The boys enjoyed picking out a pumpkin as well.  There were so many options that I think it was a little over whelming.  There was also a tractor giving hay rides and Mason was a little fixated on that.  Since we were so close, we decided to stop by Amicalola Falls and hike to the top of the falls and back.  On the way up we took the path right by the falls which has stairs most of the way.  I think there were about 600 stairs and the boys walked the whole way by themselves.  Mason got pretty tired near the top, but he finished on his own and was very proud of himself.  On the way down we took a trail through the woods and the boys had fun looking for acorns and enjoying God's creation.
