Happy 4th of July!!

Since David was very busy studying for his new position, the kids and I headed to Wisconsin for the 4th of July weekend.  We had a great time.  The weather was beautiful and the kids were able to enjoy a lot of time outside.  We, of course, were able to participate in the parade with Grandma's float  and the kids helped hand out candy.  The boys enjoyed the fireworks and doing sparklers with their Aunts and Grandma.  And in keeping with tradition, we also walked the 3 mile walk on Saturday.  There was no complaining this year so I guess they are getting older!  The boys were a big help to Grandpa with making hay and milking the cows.  They informed me after we came home that they will probably need to go live with Grandpa in a couple of years because he is getting old and will need help on the farm.  Such sweet spirits, but I did have to inform them about the realities of life :)

The kids all played really well together. Huge blessing!

Waiting for the parade to start

I think she is wondering if she can have the flag!
