Annual Strawberry Picking!

We were anxiously waiting for strawberry picking season this year.  Because of the cold weather it was a little later than usual, but the berries were just delicious.  The boys had fun helping pick and eating as many berries as they could.  Johanna was not very interested in eating any berries, but she was a good helper putting the strawberries in the bucket.  It was a beautiful day and it was just nice to be outside enjoying the fresh air.  The boys helped make a couple batches of jam and we mostly enjoyed the strawberries on Angel Food cake and short cakes.  We wish it was closer so we could go again :)
