Mason Turns 5!!!

Mason was very excited to be turning five!  He counted the days down to his birthday and he was very adamant about what he wanted to do and eat on his birthday!  Grandpa and Grandma Dahlie surprised us and flew in for his special day and he was absolutely thrilled.  We had a great time visiting the zoo and playing around the house with his new toys.  He got a toy bow and arrow that he is just enamored with and a remote control helicopter that he is still trying to figure out.  We have had a lot of crash landings!  Mason wanted to make muffins for his cupcakes and he even made up his own recipe (sort of!).  It was a wonderful day and I think he enjoyed every minute.  He is such a thoughtful little guy (he always tells me how pretty how I am and that he loves me) and he is very diligent with his schools work.  I feel like I am going to blink and he is going to be 10!
