4th of July!!!

For the Fourth of July, I decided to travel with the kids to Wisconsin which in hindsight was not the best choice!  The travel ended up being much more eventful than I had planned and with three kids a lot of drama as well.  The boys were very upset because it didn't look like we were going to make it, but we persevered and did finally get there late on the 3rd thanks to a ride from Uncle Anthony and Stacie.  Grandma had a float in the parade so the boys helped hand out goodies which they thought was so cool.  Although the fireworks were so late, we let them stay up and they said they were really pretty.  On Saturday we walked a 5K as part of Grandma's team which raises money for the Women's Alliance.  In between all the holiday celebrations we were busy at the farm helping Grandpa bale hay.  It was beautiful weather so we were able to help get a lot of work done.  Aunt Lane took the boys to the beach one afternoon which they thought was very refreshing.  Although the travel experience was pretty miserable, we had a great time.  David had to work the whole time, but he is hoping to be able to join us when we head back in a week.
