Happy Halloween!

The boys were very aware and interested in Halloween this year.  They were so excited about getting their pumpkins and carving them.  A friend that David flies with had a pumpkin carving party so David took the boys and they had a great time.  They loved putting the candles in and seeing them lit up in the dark.  We had thought that maybe we would do some different costumes for trick or treating, but we didn't find anything else so the boys went as pilots.  They were happy with it so that was all that mattered.  We walked up to the local grocery store where they had trick or treating throughout the store along with face painting.  Then David took them out and about to the neighborhood near us.  They had a great time and were very excited to show me all their candy when they got home.  Since they have never seen most of it, they had a lot of questions like what is this and what does it taste like.  Tanner assured me that as long as it has sugar in it, he will like it.

Looking for the perfect pumpkin!

Mason figured he had to pick it up to determine if it was the perfect one!

Getting Dad's expert opinion

Ahhh, we finally found two good ones!

They didn't really like getting the guts out!

Ta da...the finished product!

At night with them lit up

And off trick or treating!

Their buckets were so full when they came back they could hardly carry them!
