After having colored eggs and having an egg hunt in Wisconsin, our Easter at home was pretty low key. The boys and I made resurrection cookies the day before Easter and that was a lot of fun. The cookies had to stay in the oven over night so they were excited on Easter morning to open the oven and try one of the cookies. David also hid their baskets and they had fun looking for them. They had a small Easter egg hunt at church, but the boys were not very successful. Mason only got one egg and Tanner a couple more. We had planned to meet up with some friends for Easter lunch, but Mason wasn't feeling the greatest and we discovered that he had pink eye. We ended up having a nice lunch at home and taking the boys for a bike ride and just playing games. Although the day didn't go quite as we had planned, it turned out really nice.
